How to verify a casino and escalate a complaint
| 1. Verify the licence | Search the operator's company name or licence number in the official SRIJ register at srij.turismodeportugal.pt. The footer of a licensed casino site must state the same licence details. |
| 2. Complain to the casino first | Regulators require you to exhaust the operator's own complaints process before escalating. Keep the ticket number and correspondence. |
| 3. Escalate to SRIJ | If the casino does not resolve the complaint, escalate it to Serviço de Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos (SRIJ) (or the ADR body it designates). Unresolved payment disputes and licence breaches are exactly what the register exists for. |
